Terms of Service – Relish Living

1. General Information

Relish Living is a home-based holistic therapy practice offering massage, waxing, and Reiki treatments.

By booking an appointment or using this website, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

 

2. Services Provided

Relish Living offers:

• Massage therapy

• Waxing treatments

• Reiki and holistic therapies

All treatments are carried out professionally and tailored to individual needs.

Important: Reiki and holistic therapies are complementary and are not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Clients should consult their GP for medical concerns.

 

3. Client Health & Responsibility

Clients must provide accurate and complete health information prior to treatment.

• You agree to disclose all relevant medical conditions, allergies, injuries, medications, and skin sensitivities

• Relish Living reserves the right to refuse or modify treatment if it is deemed unsafe

• Failure to disclose relevant information may result in adverse reactions, for which Relish Living cannot be held liable

 

4. Waxing Policy & Skin Care

Waxing and tinting treatments involve some level of skin sensitivity and risk.

By booking a waxing appointment, you confirm:

• You have disclosed any use of retinoids, medications, or skin treatments

• You have not had recent sunburn or skin irritation in the treatment area

• You understand redness, sensitivity, or minor irritation may occur

Patch testing may be required for certain treatments.

 

5. Bookings & Payments

• All appointments must be booked in advance

• Prices are listed on the website and may be subject to change

• Payment is required at the time of booking or immediately after treatment (depending on booking method)

 

6. Cancellation Policy

Relish Living requires a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

• Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged 50% of the treatment cost

• Missed appointments (“no-shows”) may be charged up to 100% of the treatment cost

 

7. Late Arrivals

Late arrival may result in reduced treatment time. Full charges will still apply.

 

8. Professional Boundaries

All treatments are strictly professional.

• Any inappropriate behaviour will result in immediate termination of the session

• Full payment will still be required

• Future appointments may be refused

 

9. Liability Disclaimer

All treatments are provided with the highest standard of care.

However:

• Results may vary between individuals

• Clients accept treatments at their own risk

• Relish Living is not liable for reactions or injuries where contraindications were not disclosed

Nothing in these terms excludes liability where it is unlawful to do so under UK law.

 

10. Aftercare

Aftercare advice will be provided where appropriate.

Relish Living is not responsible for adverse effects resulting from failure to follow aftercare guidance.

 

11. Personal Belongings

Relish Living accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to personal belongings during your visit.

 

12. Hygiene & Safety

Relish Living follows appropriate hygiene and safety practices in line with guidance from the Health and Safety Executive.

Clients are expected to attend appointments in a suitable condition for treatment.

 

13. Confidentiality & Data Protection

Client information is handled in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation.

14. Right to Refuse Service

Relish Living reserves the right to refuse treatment:

• Where health and safety concerns arise

• In cases of inappropriate behaviour

• Where treatment is deemed unsuitable

Unauthorised use of this website may give rise to a claim for damages.

 

16. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
